Fuckwit Bush administration, said, "We're an empire now, and when we act, we create our own reality," it was widely seen as insanity, as pure hubris of the kind that would be struck down by the mighty pens of the world. But it's turned out to be frighteningly true—more real than any reality any journalist ever studied. It turns out the elected officials in the United States can just will their own reality into being, no memory hole, no Ministry of Truth needed.
