Donald Trump really does want the economy to crash (presumably worse than it already has). He repeats that fucking stupid right-wing claim that there are people better off without a job -- I guess on that king's ransom no longer called welfare and that liquor-and-lobster-spewing ATM that is no longer food stamps -- and shrugs that maybe if everything falls completely apart, those people will finally get up off their asses. Starving galley slaves row harder, everyone knows that! Homunculus-like toadying puppeteer Steve Bannon really did say he wants to destroy the state, I guess because he's an asshole. And, of course, William Yeats really did write that, after Europe had pretty much destroyed itself in World War I. Spoiler alert: It wasn't permanent, although that's despite subsequent attempts.
I'd love to tune in a few years from now to find armed men dragging a dirty bearded Donald J. out of a spider hole, but you know what the odds against that are.
